About: Marcie Clagett

Marcie began her riding career in hunter/jumpers.  When her cousin, Linda Zang, a then-member of the U.S. Olympic Dressage Team, opened a training center which became the Dressage Team Headquarters under Coach Col. Bengt Ljungquist, Marcie worked on staff, trained and was privately sponsored to Prix St.Georges level in Dressage, and competed at National, regional and local levels in Dressage and Eventing-- and galloped racehorses!  In 2000, she was "dragged" to a polo match by some of her students, and found in it a discipline which pulled all of her previous work with horses together into one sport.  She specializes in horse performance development for Dressage, Eventing and Polo; analyzing, retraining and managing issues that interfere with performance and progress of professionals, amateurs and horses with science-based, classical training.
